About the Object
Mälarutsikten is an apartment building in Hässelby Strand. The property has 18 floors above ground with a convenience store on the ground floor.
How have we assisted the project?
Brandskyddslaget was responsible for the fire safety design from the outset of the project until the building was completed. The boundary conditions for the fire protection were developed using a using a fire engineered solution where the building overall safety was analysed. The ventilation, including fans operating in fire mode with pressurization of stairwells and evacuation elevators, was verified using an analytical model.
The fire protection documentation was supplemented by an in-depth operations and maintenance plan for fire safety of the building before being handed over to the client.

About the Object
Etaget is comprised of two exclusive apartment buildings with 11 and 13 floors above ground together with a variety of stores on the ground floor, in Kungsholmen in Stockholm.
How have we assisted the project?
Brandskyddslaget was responsible for the fire safety design and risk assessment of the buildings, taking into account the proximity to the highway Essingeleden, one of the most important traffic arteries in Stockholm. The ventilation fire protection, including fans in operation with low-sitting air supply installations, was verified using analytical design.

About the Object
The area “Bandybollen” on Eyra Field in Örebro is comprised of approximately 200 apartments, a pre-school, numerous businesses and a parking facility. The buildings have between five to twelve floors and have been constructed in three phases between 2010-2016.
How have we assisted the project?
Brandskyddslaget has helped to develop the fire safety design and documentation and conducted performance verification. We have also helped develop the ventilation systems with fans in operation during fire.
The area is in close proximity to a dangerous goods transport artery. This has resulted in special provisions being made concerning, for example, the design of the facades and roof and a bespoke stop function for the ventilation system. In particular, the location of the escape routes was impacted by the neighbouring dangerous goods transport.
